WE BUY!
Bookery is always looking to purchase collections of various kinds. Products we seek in particular include...
-- Collectible comics, pulps, books. Just this past June we paid $30,000 for a single box of comics. In July we purchased 6,000 comics in one lot. We have also recently bought mixed groupings including platinum-age, Big Little Books, pulp magazines, early paperbacks, 1st edition fantasy books, miscellaneous paper collectibles from the 1930s, early original movie posters and other items. We buy collections large and small and have money on hand to make immediate payment!
In comics we are especially looking for items from the 1890s through the 1960s. We also currently need original pulp magazines 1890s-1950s, particularly in the detective, horror and hero genres.
-- Quality-condition used books and DVDs. We need good quality fiction books, especially paperbacks, and especially recent paperbacks (last 5 - 10 years) in the areas of science-fiction, mystery, detective, fantasy, and horror. We also will sometimes purchase groupings of literary fiction, westerns and other non-romance fiction. We can always use good-quality DVDs... especially larger collections. We can also always use decent-condition used Graphic Novels, Archive editions, Essentials, etc.
Our book buy-rates pay multiples of what you will get at Half-Price Books and other such chains!
